From Evisa you can do smaller or larger excursions, here the two popular hiking routes Mare a Mare North - Mare e Monti cross over. The well-known long-distance hiking trail GR 20 runs over the Col de Vergio, about 10 km from Evisa. A trip to the nearby natural pools of Evisa is particularly worthwhile. Here the numerous rocks, waterfalls and pools create beautiful photo motives. A popular hike from Evisa is also the descent into the Spelunca gorge on the route of the Mare e Monti, one of the most beautiful in the whole of Corsica. This ends in the valley near the village of Ota nearby Porto.
Porto and its region offer many unique places and excursions. A Genoese tower and Aquarium can be visited. The nature reserve, Reserve de Scandola, can be visited by excursion boats. Rust red rocks of impressive formations, crevices, caves and seabirds leave a lasting impression. With a little luck you will even get to see dolphins - one longed for and happy moment.
But also south of Porto, you may marvel: visit the Calanches de Piana, world heritage awarded by UNESCO, also rust red rock formations, through which a small winding road or hiking trails lead. Further south, behind the picturesque village of Piana, one of the most beautiful in the whole of France, the 331 m high Capo Rosso awaits you, which can be climbed in about 2 hours (time only for the ascent). At the beach of Arone, you can relax and enjoy a meal. With its fine white sand and remoteness it is a must for all nature lovers.

The entire region is part of the 350 000 hectare Corsican National Park established in 1972 and which encompasses about one third of the total area of the island.
