The Residence U Pirellu lies on the peninsula Piccovagia south of Porto-Vecchio, just two minutes from the famous beach Palombaggia.

The 2-star residence - a peaceful place on a slope above the sea - welcomes you with its 25 mini-villas. Three different types of accommodation can be booked: Studios for 2-3 persons, mini-villas for 4 people and mini-villas for 6 persons (4 adults and 2 children).

The mini-villas for 6 people have a living space of 55 sq.m. A bedroom with a double bed 1.40 m wide and a bedroom with two beds 90 cm wide, adjoin to a living room with a sofa bed for 2 persons. The bathroom has a washbasin and shower, the toilet is separate. The kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator with integrated freezer, gas stove and coffee machine. On the terrace you can have an enjoyable evening with a barbecue.

The smaller mini-villas have an area of 45 sq.m. A bedroom with a double bed 1.40 m wide and a bed sofa in the living room offer room for 4 people. The bathroom has a washbasin and shower, the toilet is separate. The kitchen is well equipped as in the mini-villas for 6 people, and here also the terrace with barbecue offers some relaxing hours. One of the villas is designed for disabled people.

The studios for 2-3 individuals have the sleeping arrangements in the living room: a sofa for two persons and a single bed 90 cm wide. The bathroom has a washbasin, shower and toilet. Kitchen and terrace furnished as in the mini-villas.

Each bungalow group is assigned a parking lot and the house is through an electronic portal on night coverage, only the guests have access.

From all apartments you have a beautiful view of the sea. The residence offers many free activities: the pool is heated out of season and has a small whirlpool. In addition, there is a bar, a television lounge, a mini golf course with 12 holes in the middle of a beautiful green area. Here flows a small artificial stream, with ducks and cranes . a pleasure especially for the children. Four small tennis courts (half court) and a children's playground for fun and play.

A small supermarket and a pizza bar are located 100 meters away, and many other activities are possible in the environs: jet ski, motor boats (with and without licence), horse riding and of course walks in this beautiful spot of the south east of Corsica. The white sandy beach of Palombaggia with its iridescent clear water let you feel a touch of paradise. The proximity to the charming Porto-Vecchio, where you can stroll and eat typically Mediterranean, the ideal location to explore the south of Corsica, makes the Residence U Pirellu so attractive. From here, you may discover the beaches of Fautéa, Saint-Cyprien, Cala Rossa and Pinarello. Right in the south lie the Lavezzi Islands in a nature reserve, the beauty of which can be admired during a boat trip from Porto Vecchio, Bonifacio or Palombaggia. Also the mountains with their small villages and the characteristic landscape of the Alta Rocca are only a half hour drive away and enticing for trips and hikes.

From here it is 10 minutes by car to the centre of Porto-Vecchio and a half hour to the mountains and the forest of Ospedale in which beautiful walks can be undertaken.

The environs of Porto-Vecchio belong to the main tourist centres of Corsica and are located in the southern area of the east coast. Wonderful beaches and a beautiful hilly landscape characterize the region. Porto-Vecchio itself boasts of picturesque alleys, restaurants and small shops. The old town (about 70 metres from the sea) has literally exceeded its walls. The largely preserved citadel of the city consists of five bastions and the Porte Génoise in the direction of the harbour, originally being the only access to the city.
Along the coast and the 'Golfe de Porto Vecchio' with its bays there are innumerable accommodations for everyone who would like to visit this beautiful corner of Corsica.
