Those who are prepared for an hour's drive from the bustling Ajaccio through the beautiful nature of Corsica's, will be heartily welcomed with the family in the Résidence Colombara in Cargèse.

The residence is quite intimate with only 17 apartments and offers relaxation in a village atmosphere even in the high season.

All apartments are located on the first floor and have a balcony or terrace overlooking Cargèse and the bay with the Plage de Perogordo. Secure parking in the well-kept courtyard of the residence. Pierre Brignole, the famous chanson singer and his wife Nanou take care of their property personally and are always available for their guests either at the small reception or in their house within the grounds.

The apartments are simple and functional equipped with everything you need for your stay: microwave, kitchen, stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, cooking utensils and cutlery, grill in the loggia and satellite TV (reception of all German channels cannot be guaranteed ). There is a communal washing machine in the area of the courtyard. If you do not wish to use your mobile phone during your holiday, a phone box is available at the residence.

A total of 17 apartments are divided into 3 types:

Apartment for 2 persons - an area of 35 sq. m
The apartment consists of a large room, loggia and terrace. Beside the front door is the kitchen with a stove and microwave and all necessary cooking utensils and crockery. The bath is separate. At the end of the room is the dining table. The double-bed room is behind a dividing wall opposite the door to the loggia and terrace.

Apartment for 3 / 4 persons - two rooms/ 42 sq.m.
The apartment consists of two rooms, loggia and terrace. Beside the door is the kitchen with a stove and microwave and all necessary cooking utensils and crockery. The dining table is in the immediate vicinity of the kitchen. Next to the access to the loggia and terrace is a single bed. The bathroom is separate. In a separate bedroom is a double bed.

Apartment for 5 / 6 persons - three rooms/ 52 sq.m.
The apartment consists of three rooms and a porch. Beside the front door is the kitchen with a stove and microwave and all necessary cooking utensils and crockery. The dining table is in the immediate vicinity of the kitchen. Next to the access to the loggia and terrace is a single bed. The bathroom is separate. In a separate bedroom is a double bed, in a third room, there are two single beds.

The Résidence Colombia Bara is located on the northern outskirts of the picturesque town and provides a pleasant stay especially for families.

The site became known because in 1676 a group of Greek immigrants settled here. Two churches standing face to face since this time - a Greek Orthodox church with remarkable icons and a Roman Catholic church honouring All Saints. The Easter celebrations are in accordance with the Greek Orthodox rules under the leadership of the Archimandrites of Cargèse.
If you like diving, the turquoise waters at the beach of Menasina are ideal. A boat trip in the Scandalo Nature Reserve is a marvellous experience.

Those who have bathed enough at the local beaches can travel on to Sagone. Here are beach experiences coupled with the possibility to visit the higher and cooler regions of the Parc Naturel Régional. Embedded in a pastoral landscape, is the picturesque village Vico with its Franciscan monastery Saint Francois from the 15th century and the Liamone gorge. Each year on the 1st and 2nd of August, Vico is a popular tourist destination, because of the monastery festival with processions of the brotherhoods. The neighbouring Murzo is worth a visit, especially in September, when the "Miele in festa" celebrates the typical Corsican honey.

In the direction of the Verighio pass one reaches Evisa, a mountain village surrounded by chestnut forests where every year on the 4th of August the festival Christ-Roi is celebrated. Immediately behind begins the Foret d'Aitone with gigantic black Corsican pines, mountain streams and a waterfall, where natural pools are an invitation for a refreshing plunge.
This area is known as the starting point for tours into the Tafunatu, up the Monte Cinto and to Lac de Nino and Lac de Cerno covered with water lilies (according to legend, a hiding place of the devil), as well as the thermal baths of Guagno les Bains.
Br> On the menu are Canelloni with brocciu, sausage from Cristinacce, glazed chestnuts from Evisa, honey from Murzo and many dishes with local mushroom species.
